It will take longer if you are having luggage with with you as it is uphill" says Gabriella Fabbri, from Google Maps reviews.
James Dalton Highway

"Alaska is big - we hear that all the time from visitors. However you don't realize how big it really is until you do this trip. Sure you get the lottery and drive the Denali Road, and yes that is pretty and long. But when you drive the Dalton Highway in the middle of the summer and then you realize just how big this amazing land is.
You go through distinct areas of Alaska, and spend most of the time driving in the Arctic Circle - where the sun just spins above you without knowing which way is North, South, East or West because the sun never went down.
You see all sorts of animals. No one is there to stop you from walking anywhere - you might die, but that's on you." says Elinor from tripadvisor. Skippers Canyon

It was dry when we did this road in April, but I don't think that I would attempt it if it was wet, as this road is wide enough for one vehicle, with steep drop offs. If you don't have the means to drive this yourself, some tour guides in the area offers tours along this track. The scenery is incredible, and I recommend this drive if it can fit in your schedule!" says Kestrel Kev, from Google Maps reviews.

99-Bend Road
"The elevation of Tianmen Mountains is 1518.6 meters (the highest one in Zhangjiajie); people may feel amazing that about 40 peaks inside the mountain area are over 1000 meters.
The cave is on the precipices and is over 1260 meters elevation, the height of the cave is 131.5 meters and the width is about 50 meters. The cave is like the door to heaven; it looks like the junction of common world and the place where god lives. Guest may need to walk up 999 steps to reach the cave, it will be tried but lucky, because '9' is the biggest number in Chinese culture and 999 means an eternal/forever life. Or you can take the world longest escalator over 5 times to get to the cave and another 7 times to get to the peak!

There is other way to get to mountain using the twisting mountain road from the foot of the mountains to the Tianmen Cave. The mountain road is only less than 11 kilometers but the elevation rises rapidly from 200 meters to 1300 meters. Ninety nine turnings decorate the holy road and it was built with over a hundred million of Chinese Yuan investment together with a 5 years hard working.
The highlight of Tianmen Cave is the mystic views of fog and cloud. Watching the changing of clouds and fogs, the feeling is like traveling in a place with profound questions asked by the god. The peak also poses new challenge for those love the thrill to walk on the glass walk way built along side of the mountain cliff... scary!!
